Redzone Resources Ltd.: Appointment of Director

("Redzone") (TSX: REZ) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Richard Godfrey to its Board of directors effective July 21, 2011. Richard brings a wealth of experience to Redzone by way of his varied and extensive experience beginning in 1988 as Director of Finance at the Faro and Sa Dena Hes zinc mines in Yukon. Later he also served as Corporate Controller at Royal Oak Mines and VP Finance & CFO of Triton Mining Corp. He spent four years as Financial Advisor to Ma'aden, the Saudi Arabian State Mining Company and in 2003 was VP Finance & CFO of Breakwater Resources Ltd., a multi-mine base metal producer with extensive international mining operations. Subsequently he was appointed VP Finance for EuroZinc Mining, prior to their merger with Lundin Mining and then VP and CFO of Sherwood Copper Corp. following which, after the merger with Capstone Mining Corp., he became Sr. VP and CFO of Capstone Mining, his current position.
