Bicolored marking according to GHS regulations - cab offers industries integrated solution concept
The guidelines of the Globally Harmonized System, in short GHS, set up new demands on both the industry and occupational health and safety. Anyone dealing with chemicals has therefore to be engaged in his product marking. The German manufacturer of label printing systems cab offers proper equipment to
these companies: XC series label printers, plus ribbons and labels designed
accordant to individual needs and application.

Black symbols amid red rhombs
GHS hazard pictograms are to be printed bicolored and in one single printing process. Hence, in cab bicolor printers two printing modules are arranged directly after one another. Labels up to 210 millimeters in height and 148 millimeters width can be handled.
Synthetic labels: resistant to external influences
If items have to be attached to rough surfaces or low-energy plastics especially rugged labels are needed. Probably highly adhesive. Solid and resistant to humidity, chemicals, fats and oils. cab labels made of polypropylene are specifically developed for application in the production lines of the chemical industry as well as the pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries.
Resin ribbons for accurate and durable printing
When printing on synthetic labels ribbons have to be smear- and scratch-proof. cab resin ribbons are optimized for high resolution in thermotransfer printing. Available in colors black or red, standard widths 110 millimeters and 165 millimeters. Further widths and saltwater-proven materials on request.
