HANNO?s environment management system again certified by ÖKOPROFIT
The?Ecological Project For Integrated Environment Technology? developed in Graz, Austria was taken over by Munich as the first Grman city in 1998. Today, over 1200 German municipalities participate, including Hannover.
(PresseBox) - The purpose of ÖKOPROFIT is to build the economic strength of companies by preventive environmental protection. All production and/or service processes of a company are analyzed for material and energy inputs. A suitable consultation program for the reasonable combination of economy and ecology is placed at the disposal of the companies for preparing an internal environment management.
In totally eight workshops, HANNO analyzed all measures of environmental relevance and of interest to HANNO. Potential improvements of legal safety, environmental impact and cost reduction were identified. A commission issues the ?ÖKOPROFIT? award to successful candidate companies after an audit at the completion of the project.
For the second time now, HANNO has proved that successful environment management is not an empty phrase for this medium-size company with headquarters in the south of the state capital. HANNO received the award as successful company during a festive ceremony at Hannover Congress Center in mid-December.
