Ivanhoe Mines Files NI 43-101 Prefeasibility Study Technical Report on the Platreef PGE-Nickel-Copper Project on the Northern Limb of South Africa's Bushveld Complex

(firmenpresse) - VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwired) -- 01/16/15 -- Ivanhoe Mines (TSX: IVN) today announced that further to its news release dated January 8, 2015, it has filed an independent National Instrument 43-101 technical report on the prefeasibility study of the planned first phase of development of the company's Platreef platinum, palladium, rhodium, gold, nickel and copper mine.

The NI 43-101 technical report was prepared for Ivanhoe Mines by OreWin Pty. Ltd.; Amec Foster Wheeler E&C Services Inc.; SRK Consulting Inc.; Stantec Consulting International LLC; and DRA Projects (Pty.) Ltd. The report - titled Platreef 2014 Prefeasibility Study - has been filed on the SEDAR website at and on the Ivanhoe Mines website at .
