AMP to Streamline Property Data Management for the more than 120 Member Montana Municipal Interlocal Authority

(firmenpresse) - HELENA, MONTANA -- (Marketwired) -- 01/19/15 -- AssetWorks Inc., a leading provider of appraisal services and software solutions to asset- and infrastructure-intensive organizations, today announced that the Montana Municipal Interlocal Authority (MMIA) has implemented AMP from AssetWorks. AMP offers MMIA a convenient, efficient, and secure method for managing the property data and insurable values for approximately 3,900 buildings.

"Since the MMIA property program began in 1998, we've more than quadrupled in size," stated MMIA Training Coordinator/Member Services Representative, Laura Wigen. "With more members managing more data, we recognize that having a single, comprehensive solution, like AMP, for property tracking and valuation management is critical."

By maintaining information about buildings and structures, vehicles, property-in-the-open, and secondary C.O.P.E. characteristics in one database, AMP can help MMIA streamline data communication processes and simplify the insurance renewal procedure. Various levels of user access, approval processes and a complete auditable history ensure the integrity of the data being tracked while a dynamic reporting tool can assist users with data conversion for catastrophe modeling and proof-of-loss documentation.

"The feedback we've received from our members has been very positive" stated Wigen. "Many of our members plan to use this new program as their main source of tracking images, documents, and property information."

The Montana Municipal Interlocal Authority (MMIA) is a risk retention pool created and managed by the cities and towns of the State of Montana. The MMIA Property Insurance Program began in 1998 with just 25 members and has since grown to include more than 120 member cities and towns. The program coverages include everything from real property, equipment and vehicles to animals and art.
