2015 Cantech Investment Conference Sets Attendance Record
(firmenpresse) - VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwired) -- 01/21/15 -- The 2015 Cantech Investment Conference, which took place Thursday, January 15th at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, attracted more than triple the attendance of the inaugural event, which was held last year.
Cantech 15 saw more than 1200 people through its doors to see outstanding private companies such as BuildDirect, Vision Critical and Chango, a range of publicly traded techs, and keynotes such as Amaya Gaming's David Baazov and Difference Capital Financial's Michael Wekerle.
"The outstanding turnout of the buy side, sell side, retail investors and media is more evidence that Canadians are looking towards the tech sector for returns. In turn, this is the third consecutive year that tech has lead the Canadian markets, and it shows no signs of slowing," said Cantech Letter Founder and Editor Nick Waddell.
The 2015 Cantech Investment Conference was sponsored by the TSX, Wildeboer Dellelce, Difference Capital, PI Financial, Haywood Securities, and Paradigm Capital.
