Tim Trainor Named to Lead North American Business Development at Ultimate Risk Solutions
(firmenpresse) - NEW YORK, NY -- (Marketwired) -- 01/21/15 -- Tim Trainor will lead North American business development at Ultimate Risk Solutions, LLC, an independent developer of financial risk analytics and software solutions for the global insurance and reinsurance industry. Alex Bushel, URS Founder and CEO, made the announcement today. Mr. Trainor comes to URS from EQECAT, Inc. where he managed client relationships and business development as a Practice Leader.
"Tim brings a broad range of experience in the insurance industry and a keen knowledge of analytical technology," said Mr. Bushel. "His business acumen and industry knowledge coupled with deep understanding of analytical solutions will make a major contribution to the growth of URS."
Working directly with primary insurers and insurance brokers, Mr. Trainor has served the P&C industry from the early days of catastrophe risk modeling. He began his career in 1986 as an energy and technical risk property underwriter in New York City with particular emphasis on oil and gas, chemical, industrial facilities, and course-of-construction risks. During his career in P&C, he played key roles in natural catastrophe underwriting, portfolio management, risk transfer, and model adoption.
