(firmenpresse) - According to reports, CEO of Abu Dhabi Borouge plastic raw material manufacturers (Borouge) Company Abdul Aziz Abdullah Haji Li said that the production of plastic materials, polypropylene and polyethylene Borouge’s three project at the end of 2014 has gradually entered the production phase, the company's annual production capacity is about 300 tons. The first quarter of 2015 after the last two units of equipment operation, the company will reach an annual capacity of 4.5 million tons of plastic raw materials. UAE market share in the Gulf region will increase from 10% to 15%.
The report also introduced in 2015 Borouge car in Shanghai with a plastic production plant and an annual output capacity will increase from 50,000 tons to 80,000 tons, and current part of the project has been completed.
In 2015 the company plans to expand the product range from the current 50 kinds to 80 kinds, covering many areas of aircraft, automotive, oil and gas and water pipelines. Short-term goal is to complete the company's strategic Borouge’s three project, increase productivity. Medium-term goal is to promote innovative ideas to enhance the value of high-tech, high value-added, the use of cost-saving technology product categories; the long-term goal is a shortage of natural gas resources, oil prices under the decline of the background, the use of liquid natural gas could replace oil as a raw material to produce polyethylene, polypropylene feasibility.
