Marathon Patent Group's Wholly-Owned Subsidiary TLI Communications GmbH Files Patent Infringement Lawsuit Against Apple in Germany
(firmenpresse) - LOS ANGELES, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 02/09/15 -- (NASDAQ: MARA) ("Marathon"), a patent licensing company, announced today that its wholly-owned subsidiary TLI Communications GmbH has filed a patent infringement lawsuit against Apple Inc., Apple Distribution International and Apple Retail Germany GmbH in the Regional Court of Munich in Germany.
TLI Communications is asserting infringement of the German part of European patent 0 814 611 B1 by the internet service "iCloud" operated by the defendants, the devices iPhone and iPad as well as the associated operating software, which includes the "iCloud photo sharing" function, and which are distributed by the defendants.
