WiLAN and Firetide Sign License Renewal
(firmenpresse) - OTTAWA, CANADA -- (Marketwired) -- 02/12/15 -- WiLAN (TSX: WIN) (NASDAQ: WILN) and Firetide, Inc. ("Firetide") have signed a multi-year patent license renewal agreement. The running royalty license covers Firetide products sold worldwide that use certain wireless technologies.
The consideration to be paid by Firetide to WiLAN and all other terms of the renewal agreement are confidential.
WiLAN first signed a license with Firetide in October 2008. Firetide provides fixed and mobile wireless IP network infrastructure products that enable concurrent video, voice and data applications for government, transportation, education and commercial customers.
