Another great event happening this summer on Dorset's famous Jurassic coast is the RNLI Raft Race at West Bay in Bridport. Families are invited to build their own raft and paddle up the River Brit on the 28th July. You can also watch from the sidelines to view the best decorated rafts as they float - or sink - down the river.
Families enjoying will also love the colourful Swanage Regatta and Carnival which runs from 30th July to 6th August. Children will watch in awe as marching bands and dancers parade down the seafront in vibrant fancy dress outfits. There will be a great selection of music from Rock 'n' Roll to Pop to get everyone tapping their feet.
