Extraction unit with heating grids cleans and heats up the air in the hall

(firmenpresse) - Creating a comfortable and at the same time pure indoor climate in industrial halls involves high costs, especially in the winter months. However, a pleasant room temperature is essential for the performance of the employees, the protection of temperature sensitive products and the smooth run of production processes. The central extraction and filter unit AIRTECH by TEKA provides an effective solution. The room ventilation solution for the filtration of workshop air is now available with a heating grid and is thus able to warm up the air and to additionally purify them from fumes and dusts.
The device is permanently installed in the workspace and sucks up the polluted air via side canals and filters it. Afterwards the purified air flows through the heating grid. It is integrated into the pneumatic section of the unit and connected to the existing heating boiler.

The AIRTECH is particularly energy-saving thanks to the combination of several characteristics. Firstly: The cleaning efficiency of the filters of the dust category M is close to 100 %. The purified warm air can be led back into the hall instead of being led outside. Devices that supply and heat up fresh air are mostly dispensable. Secondly: The heating grid can serve as a frost protection, especially in countries with temperatures far below zero. If the user has no or no powerful heating system in his hall, he can use the module as an alternative or as an addition to heat up the air to the desired temperature. Thirdly: The pivoting nozzles carry the purified warm air up to 40 metres back into the hall. The warm air spreads evenly in the room thanks to the air circulation. Thus energy and heating costs can be reduced effectively.

In practice this could be as follows: TEKA has equipped a hall with three extraction and filter units of the AIRTECH P18 type with integrated heating grids in the metal-processing company RosNefteKomplekt in Russia. The units have an air-flow rate of 18.000 m³/h each. They are designed in a way that the air temperature is increased by 6 °C at the exit into the hall. Therefore an effective performance of 35 kW and a supply temperature of 70 °C is needed. In principle much higher air outlet temperatures can be reached depending on the individual heat demands of the user. Each individual case depends on factors such as the size of the hall, the thermal insulation and the air-change rate.
