ProMinent at Anuga FoodTec: Hygienic and accurate metering
(PresseBox) - ProMinent will be showcasing motor driven metering pumps of the Sigma product range which can be used in the food and beverage industry on stand E 041 in hall 9.1 at Anuga FoodTec, between 24-27 March 2015 in Cologne. The pumps suited to such applications are available as design "F" or as a variant with EHEDG-approved pump heads. Any motor drives from the Sigma /1, Sigma /2 or Sigma /3 product range can be used, depending on the capacity required.
The "F" design is physiologically safe for all wetted materials. All the pump head's materials which come into contact with the product/foodstuff being produced comply with the US FDA guidelines (PTFE: 21 CFR §177.1550 and PVDF: 21 CFR §177.2510).
The hygiene pump version with stainless steel heads is another way of using the tried and tested product ranges of the motor driven metering pumps Sigma in areas of the food and beverage industry with stringent hygiene requirements. They meet the EHEDG (European Hygienic Engineering & Design Group) requirements for Cleaning in Place (CIP).
The EHEDG Class 1-certified motor driven metering pumps Sigma or Sigma in design "F" can be used to meter flavourings, colourings, additives and enzyme solutions exactly in the quantities required.
ProMinent will also be presenting tailored solutions for effective disinfection and use in CIP jobs at Anuga FoodTec: firstly, the new electrolysis system Dulco®Lyse for efficient low-chloride disinfection and secondly, its new chlorine dioxide system Bello Zon® CDLb for generating a chlorine dioxide solution with long-term stability.
