Recipe for success: easy integration

(PresseBox) - Almost exactly ten years after releasing its first industrial camera, the company IDS located in Obersulm has shipped its 500,000th camera. It belongs to the USB 3 uEye CP Rev. 2 camera series, which represents a fully re-engineered generation of industrial cameras. It has a USB 3.0 interface and is designed for modern high-performance sensor models. The anniversary model is equipped with the Sony IMX174 sensor, which sets new standards in terms of light sensitivity, dynamic range and color reproduction. It also allows long exposure up to 30 seconds.
In 1997, IDS Imaging Development Systems GmbH was founded as a two-man business. Since 2004 the company has been developing and producing digital cameras for industrial use. Today IDS is the global market leader in USB industrial cameras and offers a wide range of models with USB 2.0, USB 3.0 and Gigabit Ethernet interface. The unique software package IDS Software Suite provides an extremely easy integration is one of the company?s key success factors.
IDS has more than 170 employees worldwide in subsidiaries in USA and Japan, offices in France and United Kingdom as well as distribution partners almost everywhere in the world.
"In the next months, IDS will expand its production capacities. There is a new building on the company site being built, which will double our production area.
