Pulsar Aviation Services Inc. Receives Extended Heavy Maintenance Contract With Viva Aerobus Airlines
(firmenpresse) - SAN BERNARDINO, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 03/05/15 -- Pulsar Aviation Services Inc. (Pulsar) is pleased to announce that Viva Aerobus Airlines, based in Apodaca, Mexico, is extending its contract for heavy maintenance services with Pulsar for an additional three years. The original contract with Viva Aerobus was for a two year term.
David Reed, Pulsar President and CEO said, "As Viva transitions its fleet from Boeing to Airbus aircraft, the extension of our existing contract will allow Viva to minimize the transition headaches by sticking with a tried and true partner."
During the initial two year term, Pulsar successfully completed fifteen heavy maintenance visits on 737-300 aircraft. The first aircraft under the extended maintenance contract arrived at the Pulsar facility at the end of February and is currently undergoing heavy maintenance.
Pulsar Aviation Services is an FAA certified repair station specializing in full service maintenance and support for transport category aircraft. Located in the wide-body hangar complex at San Bernardino International Airport and with over 60,000 square feet of hangar space, Pulsar is capable of providing A through C checks and paint services for a wide range of aircraft platforms. Additionally, Pulsar provides engine inspection, repair and certification services that include top case repair, borescope, blade blending and AD/SB compliance. Pulsar also provides technical support and management services to customers ranging from on-site representation, pre-purchase and lease returns to technical planning and maintenance program bridging.
