AtHoc's unique crisis communication suite provides centralized, authoritative alerts to organizations that desire rapid response in the case of emergencies. With it, commanders can reach any landline, VoIP or mobile phone used by personnel to easily reach groups and individuals to distribute alerts. To maintain security, the Army can maintain its own contact information databases and AtHoc gives customers the flexibility to host the service onsite while leveraging AtHoc's secure cloud for rapid communications.

MEDCOM's lifesaving mission is to deliver highly responsive and reliable health services to military personnel and their families. It consists of five individual Regional Medical Commands (RMCs) and subordinate commands that oversee separate areas around the globe. With the centrally deployed AtHoc suite, the central command maintains simple, effective control over distributing its messages to any group or groups around the world based on configurable parameters. Two-way communication also enables personnel to acknowledge alerts and respond with additional information that can improve crisis response and meet accountability requirements established by the Department of Defense.

"You can never respond too quickly in a crisis, and we recognize the difference a few minutes can make in how an organization responds to an emergency," said John Schnibben, Vice President of Defense and Intelligence, AtHoc. "AtHoc is very pleased to partner with MEDCOM in providing timely and accurate communications to protect its team during crisis events."
