SouthGobi Resources Announces Resignation of Jeff Tygesen as Non-Executive Director

(TSX: SGQ)(HKSE: 1878) ("SouthGobi" or the "Company") today announces that to reflect a shift in Turquoise Hill Resources Ltd.'s ("Turquoise Hill") business focus, Mr. Jeffery Dean Tygesen, Chief Executive Officer of Turquoise Hill, resigned as non-executive Director and member of the Nominating and Corporate Governance committee effective March 17, 2015.
