New software release available: BARTHAUER releases BaSYS 9
Braunschweig, 18 March 2015. Barthauer Software GmbH, a leading provider of software for infrastructure and water management, is releasing the new version of the network information system BaSYS. With the current release which is now available to clients, BARTHAUER is expanding its network information system with numerous functions.
(firmenpresse) - BARTHAUER is presenting a comprehensive update with BaSYS 9, which uses new technologies and supports spatial geometry data management for a tremendous improvement in performance compared to the preceding versions. “With this release, we are meeting the requirements of the industry we serve,” explains Anis Saad, Director of Technology and Administration at Barthauer Software GmbH.
BARTHAUER is presenting numerous innovations and improvements for its network information system BaSYS with the new release. The highlights of the new version are exciting: BaSYS Plan, the module for the graphical planning of distribution networks, was entirely redeveloped. “Generally speaking, BaSYS Plan sets itself apart with an optimised processing speed. The planning and processing functions in the specialist field of wastewater management familiar from BaSYS 8 now feature improved, uniform and intuitive user guidance,” Anis Saad explains. Arena, the user interface typical for BARTHAUER, was further developed as well. “User-specific settings can be saved as individual profiles. Object templates for creating new records enable even more efficient data processing, Anis Saad says. The new GeoObjektDATA module supports the setup and administration of all infrastructure objects. The layer-based transfer of CAD drawings to the BaSYS database is possible with the CAD Import function.
BARTHAUER is also planning to release an initial version of its newly developed module for the street segment. A unique feature of the street database developed by BARTHAUER is that the street infrastructure data can be used as the basis for municipal infrastructure management in the direct context of the underground infrastructure. Municipal infrastructure management has been increasingly based on more or less complex EDP systems to date. However, the conservation of resources and reduction of costs is increasingly coming into focus, leading to a shift in favour of integrated data management. “With the integration of StraDATA into our BaSYS landscape, we have taken this demand into account. We enable efficient, integrated municipal infrastructure management,” days Anis Saad in conclusion about the new developments.
BARTHAUER is presenting its innovations with a dedicated exhibition stand at the trade fair for water management, “Wasser Berlin International” from 24 to 27 March 2015 in hall 3.2a, exhibition stand 231.
