Products have to be marked – no ifs and buts / cab 27th time exhibitor at Hannover Messe
cab, German manufacturer of label printing systems, presents customer solutions at Hannover Messe 2015, April 13th to 17th (hall 17, stand F51). Devices are according to individual needs and application. E.g. the new FL+ marking laser with 50 Watt maximum output power. Or Hermes+ XC, the worldwide first system for real-time printing and applying of individual two-color labels.
(firmenpresse) - Mario Hiss, cab Sales Manager Print & Apply Systems, states: “In the best case product marking is integrated into a company’s manufacturing process or logistics in such a way that clock cycles in production are not affected. For this purpose, systems are demanded that meet even the highest user requirements on quality, reliability and safety. cab offers proper solutions for all requirements.“
Precise and permanent laser marking
In laser marking diode-pumped FL+ fiber lasers ensure high beam quality. On multiple request cab besides proven 10 Watt, 20 Watt and 30 Watt machines premiers a 50 Watt output power system. All lasers may be combined with various plano-spherical lenses. The control units of all FL+ lasers are provided with either rack or tower housing. If the control unit shall be placed at a marking workplace the tower model is recommended. Control unit and laser beam source are – like computers – compactly integrated in a joint table housing.
The so-called Label Marker system marks labels of different sizes precisely and directly from rolls. There are no additional tools needed for cutting.
Another item that is shown at cab stand in hall 7 is the LSG65 laser safety housing: The professional solution for easy and quick marking of single work pieces and small series with cab fiber lasers according to laser safety class 1.
Applicators for flexible labeling
The Globally Harmonized System, in short GHS, demands standardized pictograms when marking chemicals and hazardous substances. In Hanover, cab presents the worldwide first system for real-time printing and applying of individual two-color labels – Hermes+ XC. Single labels can be printed on request without labels of loss.
When diagonally across labeling on packages and products the Hermes+ system with stroke applicator makes sense. By using an appropriate tamp pad labels are placed on two adjacent product sides. The tamp pad e.g. applies the first half of the label on the top of the product. Then the second half is rolled on.
With the A3200 applicator labels printed with a cab desktop printer are positioned 45° to 95° via a rotary cylinder and finally applied to the product surface. At the Hanover trade show the A3200 applicator is shown with a cab A4+ printer.
