Tieto appoints Wojciech Zaremba Country Manager for Tieto Poland
(Thomson Reuters ONE) - Tieto Corporation Press Release 22 July 2009 at at 10.00 am EETWojciech Zaremba (born in 1962) has been appointed Country Managerfor Tieto Poland as of October 2009. Zaremba holds a MSc. degree inComputer Science from the Technical University of Warsaw. In his newposition, Zaremba will be responsible for managing and developing allTieto's business activities in Poland.Zaremba has more than 20 years of experience in the Polish ITindustry. In the 1980's and 1990's, he held various sales,consultancy and managerial positions in Bull, Hewlett-Packard, Telia,Deloitte and SAS Institute. From 2000 to 2008, Zaremba worked at SunMicrosystems building up a Professional Services organization. He wasalso responsible for managing solution sales, and from 2005 onwardsfor the entire Professional Services team for Middle Europe region.Zaremba joins Tieto from S&T Services, where he has been working as amember of the Board of Directors responsible for InfrastructureSolutions Business Unit since 2008.Pekka Viljakainen, Executive Vice President and Head of TietoInternational, says: "The Polish economy is one of the few economiesin the world that has performed surprisingly well during the toughglobal economic conditions, and many companies have indicatedinterest in outsourcing IT operations to increase productivity andefficiency.
