Anapol Schwartz Lawyer Continues Nationwide Safe Driving Advocacy during Distracted Driving Awareness Month

During April's Distracted Driving Awareness Month, Feldman will continue to advocate for across the U.S. and urge everyone to consider ways to drive more safely.
To kick off Distracted Driving Awareness Month, Feldman will attend the "Multimodal Roundtable Discussion on Distractions Affecting Transportation Operations" hosted by the National Traffic Safety Board (NTSB) on March 31. As a leading driving safety advocate for young adults, Feldman will participate in a panel discussion regarding educational efforts to reduce distracted driving. The NTSB hopes the discussion will allow thought leaders to engage in dialogue that will lead to new solutions.
Feldman also recently responded to comments by Tesla CEO Elon Musk with regard to technology that could one day allow cars to drive themselves.* While "driverless" car technology may reduce distracted driving accidents in the future, Feldman urges the importance of continuing to reduce the 32,000 annual deaths in the U.S. from motor vehicle crashes.
Driverless cars might make the roadways safer in the future, but Feldman argues there's more to do to prevent crashes until that technology becomes a reality. "While we wait for our cars to become driverless, more and more of us, particularly our children, will needlessly die," Feldman said.
Feldman founded EndDD.org after his daughter Casey was killed by a distracted driver in 2009. EndDD.org promotes driver safety through a scientifically-based distracted driving presentation that has been given by hundreds of lawyers, nurses, physicians, safety experts and other professionals.
