Sangoma Hosts International Distributors and Recognizes Top Performers
Plus Expands International Channel Sales Staff
(firmenpresse) - TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 07/27/11 -- (TSX VENTURE: STC), a leading provider of hardware and software components that enable or enhance IP Communications Systems for both voice and data, kicked off their fiscal year by hosting over twenty of their top international distributors at their first annual Partner Summit in Toronto last week. The event served as a virtual Re-Launch of Sangoma, with the unveiling of new marketing programs, sales channel programs and firmly staking out the fact that in addition to their existing TDM Interface Board products, Sangoma is releasing a dozen new products in the coming year all focused on expanding their presence in the growing market of IP Communications.

"We were able to deliver a tremendous amount of new information to our top performing distributors, build upon our personal and business relationships, as well as create some real esprit de corps among our partners. The attendees were equally enthusiastic about the event. "The message was clear," said Siddharth Mehta, CEO of Foremost System (India), "that Sangoma is doing everything needed to grow the company, and it's ALL about growth." Petros Papdimitrious, CEO of First Telecom (Greece) echoed that sentiment, saying "It is obvious that Sangoma is sailing full speed ahead, we are very happy to be aboard!" John Molino, CEO of American Technologies LLC, expressed a key theme of the conference, noting "Sangoma isn't just a 'board company' anymore!"
The top distributors in each geographic region for FY11 were recognized with special achievement awards. "Our partners are our key to growth," said Doug Vilim, VP of Sales for Sangoma. "It is only though their efforts that Sangoma will achieve our growth targets for the upcoming year."
Sangoma also announced the addition of two experienced sales professionals to their staff to assist the channel partners in this year of growth. Tom Ray, who previously held management roles with a variety of telecom companies, including Nortel, Norstan, and VoiceGenie Technologies, and most recently, EVP, Sales and Marketing at Commetrex Corporation, joins Sangoma as Director of Sales, North America. Steve Davis, who previously held senior positions in a number of organizations, including Mitel and VegaStream, has joined as EMEA Sales Director.
