EDC Platform Offering Direct Data Entry by Patients, Foreign Language Support, and Automated E2B Safety Reporting

(OmniComm) (OTCQB: OMCM), a global leading provider of clinical data management technology, announces the general availability of release 4.2.1 of TrialMaster, its flagship product for Electronic Data Capture (EDC). This release provides new capabilities to capture audit trail information for electronic source data, dramatic productivity enhancements in the automated generation of SDTM datasets, the ability for sites in registry studies to export their own data, and over 100 other targeted enhancements. This release also contains performance improvements that allow TrialMaster to effortlessly support the industry's biggest studies.
TrialMaster version 4.2.1 also provides the platform for major new areas of functionality that will be rolled out in the coming months. These include the ability for patients to enter their own data directly into TrialMaster, translate any trial into any number of foreign languages, the ability to detect and automatically transmit serious adverse events to a safety system using the industry-standard E2B format, and the ability to view all clinical data in a convenient grid format. "Now patients can be registered into the system by the staff at an investigative site, and can then enter diary data directly over the web.
