New features in AlgoSec Security Management Suite 6.1 include:
- New workflow building blocks for removing unnecessary firewall rules, complete with total visibility of the operational and security impact of retiring a rule.
- Simplify role management by automatically importing group and role profiles as defined in the company directory, and assigning the appropriate rights based on them.
AlgoSec Firewall Analyzer extends support for Fortinet Fortigate Firewalls to include Intelligent Rule Reordering for optimal performance and Intelligent Policy Tuner™ for tightening of overly permissive rules. This enhanced analysis supports data collection from the FortiManager central management appliance or directly from Fortinet devices.
