The HIMSS Conference will take place at McCormick Place, Chicago, IL, April 12-16th, 2015 and showcase the newest technologies, trends and solutions in health IT to international and domestic healthcare executives and providers. Highlights include:
: At the top of every hour, Vecna will present a theatrical performance, recounting the experience of healthcare consumer Mary Smith as she interacts with her healthcare provider online, via mobile device, and on-site using the Patient Information Exchange platform. The presentation will include Patient Information Exchange online pre-registration and onsite registration modules, as well as the Vitals Chair, the Waiting Room Chair, and biometric authorization.
: Vecna will demonstrate the QC Bot in booth #2071, to show how implementing an autonomous system contributes to greater nurse satisfaction, better patient outcomes, and cost savings associated with patient flow. The QC Bot is used for transport in labs, pharmacies, and surgical suites, as well as for nutrition, facilities, and housekeeping purposes.
On Tuesday, April 14th, 12-1PM in Room S504BC, Janie Tremlett, Vecna's VP of Global Business & Marketing, will present on Convenience, Information, Empowerment: The Consumerization of Healthcare as part of HIMSS' Lunch and Learn series.
Vecna will also showcase their patient solutions in the interoperability Showcase, booth 2084-63, to discuss the use of SMART enabled apps in safety and securely pulling patient-specific information into the patient portal.
