Spectralink a Growing Force in Latest Independent Market Research Report on Wi-Fi Phones

The joint fourth-quarter 2014 and year-end report assesses market share, size and forecasts to track purpose-built, enterprise Wi-Fi phones as well as enterprise Wi-Fi access points and wireless LAN (WLAN) controllers.
For the fourth quarter of 2014, Infonetics reported that Spectralink's market share in terms of revenue share grew 13.6 percentage points year-over-year and is up nearly 8 percentage points quarter-over-quarter for a total revenue share of 34.5 percent. In addition, the Infonetics report found there was higher than usual demand for Wi-Fi phones in 4Q14, influenced by a large number of deals.
Spectralink's market share by unit shipments also increased dramatically versus competitors, climbing to 33.8 percent. The company's unit shipments in 2014 grew almost 40 percent over unit shipments in 2013.
