BDI - BioEnergy International AG increases shareholding in subsidiary
Enbasys again

---------------------------------------------------------------------

- BDI holds 81 per cent of the shares in the BioGas specialist Enbasys
- BioGas plants already account for 24% of BDI's total orders on hand
- New regulations about waste recycling are increasing global market
potential for multi-feedstock BioGas plants

(Grambach, 28.07.2011) BDI - BioEnergy International AG has acquired a
further 30 per cent of Enbasys GmbH, the specialist for BioGas technology,
from the founders of the company. This means that BDI now holds 81 per cent
of the shares in Enbasys. Acquisition of the remaining 19 per cent of the
shares is about to be completed.

BioGas plants with multi-feedstock technology have developed into a major
areas of BDI's operations. The most recent commissions demonstrate that the
company has managed to launch its BioGas technology on the market
successfully alongside the biodiesel plants. And the product pipeline is
impressively full: new regulations about waste recycling are increasing
global market potential for multi-feedstock BioGas plants. Now that it has
raised its shareholding in Enbasys, BDI will be able to integrate its
subsidiary even more simply, eliminate further interfaces and process
projects even more efficiently.

Following the initial commission to build a BioGas plant in Turkey, BDI has
in 2011 succeeded in obtaining not only another commission with a volume of
more than EUR 4 million in Germany but also an engineering commission.
BioGas plants already account for 24 per cent of BDI's total current orders
on hand as a result.

Enbasys has developed a highly efficient BioGas technology that is designed

mainly for industrial users and is particularly suitable for the
bioenergetic recycling of difficult industrial waste that is available as a
raw material all year round without seasonal fluctuations. This helps to
make the concept particularly economic. Since it acquired a majority
interest in Enbasys in April 2010, BDI has been able to supply integrated
waste-to-energy concepts too.
