BackWeb Updates Re First Round of Payment of Withholding Tax Refunds for Shares Held Through Cede & Co - DTC (Depository Trust Company)
(firmenpresse) - TEL-AVIV, ISRAEL -- (Marketwired) -- 04/30/15 -- Yoav Kfir, CEO of VAR Management Ltd. ("VAR"), Liquidator to BackWeb Technologies Ltd. (In Voluntary Liquidation) (the "Company" or "BackWeb"), today announced, that, in accordance with the Company announcement, via press release (the "Press Release") dated April 6 2015, the Company has today made payment, in amount of approximately $838K, which reflects approximately 47% of the amount initially withheld from DTC, via funds wire or check, to all registered shareholders including brokers ("Registered Shareholders") who satisfactorily fulfilled the conditions and procedures mentioned in the Press Release.
The Company will continue the process of payment of withholding tax refunds in accordance with the announcement in the Press Release.
BackWeb ® Technologies Ltd. (In Voluntary Liquidation) () has suspended operations, divested its patents, and is in a process of liquidation.
