Fish & Richardson Principal Whitney Reichel Named 2015 "Up & Coming Lawyer" by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly
(firmenpresse) - BOSTON, MA -- (Marketwired) -- 05/06/15 -- today announced that , a principal in the firm's Intellectual Property Litigation Group, has been selected by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly as a 2015 "Up & Coming Lawyer." The prestigious award is given to a small group of attorneys who have distinguished themselves in the practice of law after only 10 years or less of practice. Reichel will be honored at a reception in Boston on May 14, 2015.

At Fish, Reichel's practice emphasizes patent litigation in the area of electrical engineering and computer technologies. She has experience litigating complex patent cases in federal courts around the country, across a broad spectrum of technologies, in a wide range of industries. Her practice also extends to general commercial litigation, including serving on the team that is representing a client in a federal mass tort products liability litigation.
In addition to her practice, Reichel dedicates over 100 hours to pro bono work each year. Over the past seven years, she has handled cases for five families through the Political Asylum/Immigration Representation (PAIR) program, helping individuals apply for and obtain asylum and permanent residency in the U.S. and helping to bring their families to the U.S. In 2014, Reichel received the "Outstanding Pro Bono Service" Award from PAIR.
Reichel received her J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School in 2005 and her B.S., electrical engineering, from Brown University in 2002. She is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and before the U.S. Court of Appeals, Federal Circuit, before multiple district courts across the country, and before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
