LSF Announces Enrollment Is Now Open for Head Start Programs in Florida
LSF-Operated Head Start and Early Head Start Locations Across Florida Are Now Taking Enrollment Applications for the 2015-2016 School Year
(firmenpresse) - TAMPA, FL -- (Marketwired) -- 05/12/15 -- Lutheran Services Florida (LSF), a non-profit human services organization based in Tampa, announces it is now taking enrollment applications for its Head Start and Early Head Start programs in Duval, Hillsborough, Palm Beach, Pinellas counties, and Belle Glade for the 2015-2016 school year.
Head Start and Early Head Start are federally-funded, community-based programs that provide low-income families with free early childhood education services that enhance the development of children and toddlers. A few of the services available to families are regular dentist and doctor visits, a nutritionist, social services and much more. LSF has been a Head Start grantee for over 30 years, serving over 6,000 children and families in the five counties it operates.

Head Start programs also assist the children's families with different support programs, including financial planning services, community involvement opportunities and monthly training sessions that cover a variety of topics selected by the parents.
