Celebrating the Seafaring Heritage of Yarmouth County

Government of Canada provides funding to the Seafest and Rudder's Parade of Lights Festival


(firmenpresse) - YARMOUTH, NOVA SCOTIA -- (Marketwired) -- 05/13/15 -- Department of Canadian Heritage

Greg Kerr, Member of Parliament (West Nova), on behalf of the Honourable Shelly Glover, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages, today announced an investment of $21,450 in the Seafest Association.

The group will use this funding to present the 37th annual Seafest and Rudder's Parade of Lights in Yarmouth. The 11-day event will feature musical and theatrical performances by local artists and presentations of local heritage, such as guided walking tours and demonstrations of painting and rug hooking.
