Arak Resources Ltd.: New Director
(firmenpresse) - MISSION, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwired) -- 05/20/15 -- Arak Resources Ltd. (TSX VENTURE: AAC) ("Arak" or "the Company") is pleased to announce that Mr. Benjamin Hill has joined its board of directors.
Mr. Hill of Ariel Partners LLP, London England, qualified as a Barrister in 1997 spending time in private practice specializing in capital markets debt transactions and in-house roles with a variety of investment banks before joining RAB Capital in 2004. For the duration of his time at RAB, Ben worked along side Philip Richards on its flagship Special Situations Fund, a globally focused diversified natural resources investment fund, helping to develop the private side of the fund through origination, negotiation and structuring of new investments which in part saw the fund grow from $300m to over $2.7b at its height. Mr. Hill worked continuously with the management teams of its investee companies in a variety of businesses, both in asset type and size and historically held board positions on some of the fund's larger investments until his departure in 2011.
Since leaving RAB, Mr. Hill has held positions with or consulted to, investment funds and companies in the mining sector, providing his expertise in restructuring, financing and management.
