Evolving Systems' Tertio(R) Solution to Support Crucial Convergence Project for Tier 1 Operator in Africa
(firmenpresse) - ENGLEWOOD, CO -- (Marketwired) -- 05/21/15 -- , Inc. (NASDAQ: EVOL), a leader in activation, enablement and management of services for connected mobile devices, today announced that a Tier 1 African operator has placed a significant order for the Company's solution.
The operator is conducting a major restructuring of its Operational Support Systems (OSS), looking to streamline its processes, reduce operational costs and consolidate its OSS infrastructure to support a key convergence initiative that will provide a more consistent network experience for its customers.
The operator currently uses the Company's Tertio solution to provision services for its prepaid wireless subscribers and already sees the benefits of a reliable, scalable solution that lowers activation errors and integrates to a wide range of network elements and business systems. As a result of this new order, Tertio will be extended to activate the operator's portfolio of converged services including postpaid, fixed line, WiMAX and value added services. In a market experiencing explosive growth but requiring low-cost services, having a trusted activation system that can be used for multiple services will allow this operator to deliver new cost-effective services that will impact people's lives.
