This new machine which has been designed and built in Coventry is a Small Footprint CNC Internal Thread Grinder - Model '3060' and has been developed and designed to utilise the very latest technology which includes Torque Motor Driven Workhead, HF Wheel Head Motor, High Resolution Encoders, Programmable Helix and Motorised Workhead Mounted Dresser Unit also included and fitted as standard is the Coolant Supply System with Magnetic Separator, Coolant Chiller and Spindle Chiller Unit, Workholding, Dressing Media, Grinding Wheel and adaptor to suit the customers component.. The machine which has a swing capacity of 300mm and a maximum grind length up to 150mm makes it the ideal choice for a variety of applications within a diverse range of industries such as: Automative, Gauge, Aerospace, Metrology, Automation and Oil/Gas. Matrix are also delighted to announce the release of Matrix Profilemate (patent pending) which is Matrix's own Thread Profile Generation Software.
The Matrix 0550 Machine is our smallest footprint machine (2.1m x 1.7m) and has been designed with the latest technologies specifically for smaller component's such as EPS Worm, Gauge Manufacture, Micrometer Screw and Metrology Components. The 0550 is supplied with Matrix own profile software, coolant system with chiller along with your first grinding wheel and diamond dressing disk / roll all inclusive in any prices quoted.
All Matrix machines are equipped with the powerful Siemens 840DE control and can be supplied with full automation and various options to meet any specific requirements
Both Machines are ready to grind out of the box and do not have any hidden extras.
