Empire Life Launches CITS e-Application Notification Feeds
(firmenpresse) - KINGSTON, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 05/26/15 -- The Empire Life Insurance Company (Empire Life) has launched e-Application data feeds for life insurance applications placed through the Fast & Full™ Life Application Process. This will make settling Fast & Full business even faster for Managing General Agents (MGAs) using data management system providers enabled to receive these feeds.
Empire Life received Canadian Life Insurance EDI Standards (CLIEDIS) approval for their CITS e-Application data feed process. The Fast & Full e-Application data feed provides notifications of life insurance applications submitted using the Empire Life Fast & Full™ Life Application Process, an online life insurance application process that offers an electronic health questionnaire. These notifications will include a PDF image of the application as part of the feed - the only life insurance company in Canada whose notification provides this added feature.

Empire Life worked closely with CLIEDIS throughout the process to ensure compliance with the CITS standards. Pilot testing is underway with several MGAs and additional data management systems will be enabled in the weeks to come.
