Imtech has taken note of recent press coverage related to the Berlin Airport.
Imtech would like to state the following.
This case dates back to 2012 and was prior disclosed by Imtech to the market,
the authorities and Berlin Airport. The former Imtech management members accused
of wrongdoing have all been dismissed in 2013.
The recent press coverage on this subject mentions new developments in this
case. Imtech learned about this from the media. Imtech will continue to
cooperate with the authorities and Berlin Airport and will wait for the
authorities to complete their investigations. As soon as Imtech has new relevant
information this will be made public.
Following the discovery of the irregularities in 2013 Imtech initiated an
extensive self-cleaning process and accelerated the process of strengthening and
improving its Governance, Risk and Compliance policy, reinforced the quality and
effectiveness of its governance and compliance mechanisms and strengthened its
Legal, Compliance and Financial function. Further action was taken to establish
and maintain a corporate culture founded on integrity, loyalty and critical
