MatchPro for Aerospace – new HR management software for the aerospace sector

ID: 397423

New HR matching tool for the aerospace industry speeds up searching for suitable managers and specialists. The HR management software developed by ARTS, which is used internally for recruiting, suggest automatically the right candidates for vacancies in client companies.

(firmenpresse) - ARTS works with a new matching tool in order to bring companies and specialists in the aerospace industry together. The specially developed MatchPro for Aero-space software allows ARTS to become even better equipped to meet the sector specific HR requirements and thus steels itself for the "war for talents".

It is becoming more and more difficult to find employees in the aerospace industry due to the marketplace transitioning from an employer market into an employee market. Therefore it is necessary that companies not only have good online reach but that it is also done within a candidate pool which is sector specific. This is exactly where the ARTS tool helps: The HR management software which is based on Open Source technology allows the automatic upload of the job postings for aerospace sector jobs via RSS feed into the ARTS database. These job postings are then compared to the internal applicant pool of over 2,000 expert contacts (applicants, available ARTS employees and freelancers). MatchPro for Aerospace not only knows over 20,000 job names and groups by the Bundesagentur für Arbeit (German Job Centre), but also sector specific parameters such as certification, obligatory medical checks and sector specific trainings. On the basis of this knowledge and with the stored hard and soft skills of the experts, the software starts automatic matching between jobs and candidate basic data and suggests the ARTS Recruiter suitable persons. In addition to the matching, the MatchPro for Aerospace also publishes the job offer on the ARTS website as well as on sector relevant job sites (airliners.de, indeed, aircareer.de, aero.de, etc.). Furthermore, all new online applications are added to the ARTS Talent Pool and are integrated into the matching process.

The Head of IT at ARTS, Holger Kramer, has been looking after the project right from the start and aims to make the tool even more intelligent in the future: "Matching and optimizing the internal recruiting processes are central topics for HR management in 2015, and we as the IT department can be of great support. Our applicant management software shall improve both our internal recruiting processes as well as those of our clients. Using this tool, we were able to decrease our reaction time to client requests by 50% and to create a symbiosis between client request, website and external portals.“

For many years, ARTS has been taking on technological responsibilities for HR management in the aerospace industry: ARTS founded the sector's leading young talent career portal aircareer.de and has been independently developing it since 2010.
"We plan to integrate a client portal on our website where the client can easily get in touch with us and view the current processing status. This login can then in future also send candidate profiles to the customer," says Kramer.
