* Mobistar announces that it has taken over Walcom, a residential and
professional distribution network located in Wallonia;
* Mobistar continues to transform its distribution network by strengthening
its presence in many Walloon towns.
In the context of transforming its distribution network, Mobistar wants to
improve its commercial presence in Wallonia by taking over the distribution
network of Walcom.
Walcom specialises in the sale of telecommunications products and services for
individuals through a network of 20 stores and a dedicated sales team for the
professional market. The company has been a Mobistar exclusive agent for almost
20 years, mainly present on the Brussels-Arlon axis (Arlon, Virton, Ciney,
Namur, Jambes...) and in the Province of Hainaut (Charleroi, Mons, Nivelles...).
It employs 70 people.
The number of Mobistar sales points in Wallonia and Belgium amounts to 65 and
151 respectively.
