On Monday, June 15, the Fraser Institute will officially release a new book making the theories and writings of influential 20th century economist F.A. Hayek accessible to a new generation of readers.
Written by Donald J. Boudreaux, economics professor at George Mason University and Fraser Institute senior fellow, The Essential Hayek explains - in plain language - Professor Hayek's 10 most profound ideas and insights into the economy and society.
Unlike the other two economic giants of the 20th Century, Milton Friedman and John Maynard Keynes, F.A. Hayek did very little to make his work accessible to average citizens. The book, along with a dedicated and series of videos, aims to rectify this and present Hayek's work in an easy-to-understand format.
