SEI's Rush Hour Run Raises $20K for Local Charities
Race Has Raised $100K+ Since Inception
(firmenpresse) - OAKS, PA -- (Marketwired) -- 06/18/15 -- SEI (NASDAQ: SEIC) hosted its eighth-annual Rush Hour Run on June 11, 2015. The 5K run draws 550 participants to the racecourse along the Perkiomen Creek. Demand continues to be high for the race, as this is the second year in a row that registration filled up in less than two weeks.
This year the race raised approximately $20,000 for SEI Cares, a 501c organization that supports local charities through grassroots fund-raising and employee volunteer projects. With the funds from this year's run, SEI Cares provided grants to the Spells Writing Lab, Elmwood Park Zoo, and Phoenixville Community Education Foundation. Since its inception, the Rush Hour Run has raised approximately $100,000 for local area charities.

The overall female winner was Gabriella Bamford with a time of 20:58. The overall male winner was Seth Kampf with a time of 16:45. Kampf, an SEI employee, has placed first for the past eight years. The top female and male runners in each age category are as follows:
