Android 'M' with Odyssys's HotSpot 2.0 technology eliminates the need for cumbersome user logins, redirects to captive portal pages, and other obstacles to seamless Wi-Fi connectivity. Android users will now be able to easily create their Passpoint profiles and connect "automatically" to HotSpot 2.0 networks.
GlobalReach had previously integrated Odyssys HotSpot 2.0 with Apple's iOS, so today's announcement means that the company's software is now able to automatically provision over 90% of all mobile devices worldwide.
