Educator Control With Increased Efficiency and Ease of Use Are Central to the Functionality

The new Classroom Management system offers educators a streamlined experience with more control when managing their online classes. From a real-time, big picture view of each class to customizing curriculum at the student and class level, users will find the new system simple and efficient.

Clients will notice a difference immediately upon logging into Stars Suite® and selecting a class. A new dashboard view shows all recent activity in the class with real-time updates and hosts tests waiting to be graded. In one quick survey of the information, teachers know what work they and their students need to complete and what work has been completed. The interface was designed by keeping in mind users' familiarity with social media applications.
A major focus was on integrated reporting, which now allows educators to pull a variety of reports, including a class-wide audit, and export report cards into a gradebook-style grid.
Giving educators the opportunity to manage classes and customize lessons and exams at the student and class level puts them in the driver's seat. Features include locking the class from student access, editing curriculum to manage the highlighting of key information in lessons, and excluding certain content from midterm and final exams.
Other improvements include one-click email to the entire class or a single student and grading enhancements that provide the chance to clear answers when resetting graded items.
