Ticket Summit 2015 Draws Hundreds of Ticketing Representatives
Annual Ticketing Conference Brings Together More Than 600 Attendees
(firmenpresse) - SOUTH WINDSOR, CT -- (Marketwired) -- 07/20/15 -- Ticket Summit, the leading conference and trade show for ticketing and live entertainment professionals, recently hosted its annual 2015 conference July 15-17 at The Venetian Las Vegas. More than 600 attendees attended the three-day event.
Attendees included representatives of organizations from across the ticketing industry, including venues, producers, promoters, sports teams and leagues, the primary market, and secondary market ticket brokers.
A highlight of the conference schedule was the keynote, A Conversation With Joe Torre. On Friday, July 17, Chris Maathuis of KLAS-TV interviewed baseball legend Joe Torre about his life, his storied career, and his tips for success both on and off the field. Torre also took questions from the audience and took photos with attendees at the Closing Cocktail Party.
The conference's other keynote, The Future of the Industry, was held Thursday, July 16 at 2 PM. The keynote panel featured Russ D'Souza of SeatGeek, Randy Cohen of TicketCity, Paul Martens of Ticketmaster, and Don Vaccaro of TicketNetwork. These industry leaders discussed the future of ticketing and current trends affecting the business.
The conference schedule also included a wide variety of panel sessions, including Inside Sports & Venues, Improve Your PPC Strategy, Focus Your SEO Strategy, Strategies to Reduce Fraud, and more. On Wednesday, July 15, CEO Curtis Cheng presented Consolidation. Panelists included representatives of Arizona Coyotes, Event Tickets Center, Gametime, Harlem Globetrotters, LA Dodgers, NCAA, and many more.
