Purolator Tackle Hunger Raises Important Food and Funds for Families in Need

(firmenpresse) - CALGARY, ALBERTA -- (Marketwired) -- 07/23/15 -- Calgary Stampeders fans are ready to Tackle Hunger at the Saturday, August 15th game against Ottawa.

This is the 13th year for the program that raises awareness, food and funds for local food banks across Canada. At one game in every Canadian Football League city, Purolator organizes a game day food drive and encourages fans to drop off non-perishable food items or a cash donation in support of food banks in their communities.

Since 2003 Purolator Tackle Hunger has raised more than 1 million dollars in food and funds for the Calgary Food Bank alone.
