New Share Capital Registered and Treasury Shares Transferred

Following the stock option exercises as notified by Oslo Stock Exchange on 19
August 2010, 2,500 new shares have now been registered in the Company Register
in Brønnøysund for exercises from the 2009 stock option plan. 24,750 treasury
shares are transferred to cover the exercises from the 2008 plan. The Share
Capital of TGS is thereafter NOK 26,101,193.75 consisting of 104,404,775 shares
at a nominal value of NOK 0.25 per share. Following this transaction, TGS holds
1,740,200 of the issued shares as treasury shares.
