Injection Molding Company Clarion Technologies Selects abas ERP Software
(firmenpresse) - STERLING, VA -- (Marketwired) -- 07/29/15 -- Clarion Technologies, an injection-molding products company with manufacturing plants in Michigan and South Carolina, has chosen abas ERP as their ERP software for its ease of use and modern look and feel.
"abas ERP software is new. With other software companies, you have people trying to modify systems that are 20 or 40 years old," said Rhonda Van Kley, supply chain manager at Clarion. "abas ERP is a newer, more refreshing platform with a clean and unique feel." Van Kley said how their current system is difficult to navigate because everything is on a different page, whereas with abas ERP, navigation is quick and easy, and all parts of the software system connect.
Clarion will be using abas ERP for manufacturing purposes. Many companies take advantage of unique customizations and flexibility that abas ERP can offer, however Clarion is taking a different approach to implementation. Van Kley described how Clarion is leaving decisions about customizations up to the discretion of abas USA's team to allow for a smoother and quicker implementation.
"If we request extra customizations that the abas USA team doesn't think are necessary, then we want them to tell us no," said Van Kley. With this approach, Clarion hopes to have the software implemented faster and more efficiently, and will later add customizations that they feel are necessary, once the software is up and running.
To show their excitement and dedication to choosing abas ERP, Clarion made t-shirts combining both company logos on the front in abas' signature font. "We are going to be working together a lot, so we wanted to show that we're excited about being a team," said Van Kley.
The backs of the shirts remind the team to "just say no" to any changes to the plan that might slow down implementation.
Clarion Technologies' corporate office is located in Holland, Michigan, with manufacturing plants in Michigan and South Carolina. Clarion designs and manufactures injection-molded products for the home appliance, consumer products, and automotive industries. Clarion has two manufacturing facilities located in the Midwest and Southeast and employs 300 team members.
