Impac Mortgage Announces "Best Home Stories" Social Media Campaign Plus "Best Real Estate Agent in the West" Award

With this new social media initiative, Impac Mortgage has taken a fresh approach to uncovering the heart-warming and productive stories about the public's path to homeownership. Impac is looking for consumers to share their positive homeownership buying experiences through a writing contest, and provide insights into how their real estate agent went above and beyond what was required in order to help them achieve their dream of homeownership.
Through the stories submitted by the public, Impac Mortgage will not only select the best story and award the $10,000 grand prize (along with weekly prizes and fan favorite prizes, for a total of $15,000 in prizes), but will also select the "Best Real Estate Agent in the West 2011," that will carry with it the inaugural real estate agent winner's name and story. This honor will also provide national press release coverage, the addition of the agent's name in advertising and will bestow the "Best Real Estate Agent in the West 2011" seal, available to be used on communication material produced by the winning agent.
Impac's mission of helping people access homeownership helps the company to connect with the public in a fun and new way via social media.
The "Best Home Stories" contest, from which the "Best Real Estate Agent in the West" will be selected, begins Monday, August 1, 2011 and runs through Wednesday, August 31, 2011, running across the following seven western states: AZ, CA, CO, ID, NV, OR and WA. All homeowners age 18 and older residing in one of the above listed states are eligible to participate, with the exception of current employees of Impac Mortgage Holdings, Inc., and its subsidiaries.
