Government of Canada supports heritage projects in St. Thomas and Tyrconnell

The Government of Canada is providing a total of $13,900 through the Building Communities Through Arts and Heritage program to support two local heritage projects in Elgin County. The Iron Horse Festival of St. Thomas is receiving $11,900 and the Tyrconnell Heritage Society has been awarded $2,000.

Joe Preston, Member of Parliament (Elgin-Middlesex-London), made this announcement today on behalf of the Honourable Shelly Glover, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages.
