COMplus Technologies SE: Subsidiary company COMplus AG announces another
major order
- Realisation of broadband via directional radio
- Contract volume of approximately 1,000,000 Euros
Brandenburg (Havel) 03 August 2011, COMplus AG, a 100 % subsidiary of
COMplus Technologies SE, has obtained another major order regarding the
realisation of a fast broadband internet via directional radio in a so far
underserved area concerning Internet access.
The project in the administrative district of Barnim-Oderbruch has a volume
of approximate one million Euros and was assigned to the Brandenburg based
company due to the excellent efficiency of their solution offer. The
network construction will be sponsored by support funding of the European
Union within the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD)
as well as by fundings of the Federation and the federal German state of
Brandenburg within the framework of the Joint Task for the Improvement of
Agrarian Structures and Coastal Protection (GAK). Within the next 12 months
the broadband network 'COMplusNET' will be made available for use to more
than 2,000 households, corresponding to 13 municipalities.
'COMplus AG has once again succeeded in fending off the competition with
its cost-effective radio relay technology. After developing the areas in
the districts of Oder-Spree, Teltow-Fläming and Potsdam-Mittelmark, the
agreement concluded in the Barnim-Orderbruch administrative district is the
fourth within a very short space of time. A total of more than 7,000
households can register to use broadband internet via radio relay systems
with the regionally established COMplusNET in its current expansion stage.
As in regions with several broadband providers, a monthly amount will also
be payable in COMplusNET for use of the services, generally over a contract
term of at least two years. We therefore expect future revenue flows to
develop well at COMplus AG' explained Uwe Maiberg, Managing Director and
member of the Management Board of COMplus Technologies SE.
