Canada's Largest Sprouted Bakery Aligns Three Brands Under Vibrant Health Products Banner

All three brands have been gaining traction throughout North America as consumers continue to search for healthier food choices, from non-GMO to organic to gluten-free. Vibrant Health Products has been at the forefront of this consumer trend since 1989.
"We've always been Vibrant Health Products, but Silver Hills was our original brand," explains Stan Smith, one of the founders of Silver Hills Sprouted Bakery. "As we developed new products to meet consumer needs, we realized that these new lines would be better served under their own brand name. Over time, it became increasingly clear that we needed to publically formalize and acknowledge our corporate structure and streamline our communication."
Smith also notes that all orders and sales will continue to be processed through the head office in Abbotsford. All sales and marketing teams will be centralized from that location. "The only difference our retail customers will experience is in how we answer the phone," adds Smith. "They'll get used to hearing 'Vibrant Health Products' instead of Silver Hills, One Degree or Little Northern Bakehouse. Which certainly makes it a lot easier for our operators."
One Degree Organic Foods VP of Sales, Danny Houghton, has been named Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Vibrant Health Products. "Danny was the obvious choice to head up the marketing for all three companies," says Smith. "We believe his stewardship of all three brands will take us to the next level of growth in North America."

Established in 1989, Vibrant Health Products grew out of the Silver Hills Guest House, where one of the company's founders began using a family recipe to bake bread from sprouted whole grains. Starting with Silver Hills Sprouted Bakery, the company began establishing other brands to align with healthy dietary choices, including One Degree Organic Foods for veganic breads and cereals as well as Little Northern Bakehouse for gluten-free breads.
